Security Risk Management Training (SRMT)
Why?
Safety and Security Management is central to the successful co-ordination and implementation of humanitarian and international development programmes. It is therefore vital that staff with security risk management responsibilities hold the necessary tools to perform their role fully and to the best of their ability through high quality, up-to-date Security Risk Management training.
Online Security Risk Management Training introduces staff members of national and international organisations to the most recent and relevant safety and security best practices, methods, and tools. It is offered in English and French
Who?
ILS’ SRMT is the first course of its kind, designed and developed to provide professional-level training and mentorship to security focal points and those with security risk management responsibilities. The course is delivered over a period of 8 weeks and is designed to fit around participants’ regular working commitments, requiring around 4.5 hours of engagement per week.

Each week will focus on a different module with its own reading material, discussion forum, assignment, and webinar.
