Travel Safety & Security Training
Why?
Travelling overseas for work can be rewarding but also challenging. This fun and interactive one day travel safety training workshop has been developed by ILS to explore those challenges and to help travellers to feel happy, healthy, and safe.
How?
While focusing on common threats, the programme has been designed in a modular manner. This allows lots of flexibility in what we deliver, thereby ensuring that the workshop meets the learning needs (and relates to the travel destinations) of the delegates.
Delivered at your office over the course of a working day, we will lead your team on a theoretical work trip, encountering a range of safety challenges along the way.
Covering topics such as situational awareness, travel health, sexual violence awareness, hotel safety, risk assessments, and road traffic accidents, this popular one-day workshop will promote a culture of safety among your travelling staff.
At the end of the training, delegates will be able to:
- Describe their roles and responsibilities in relation to safety and security
- Describe measures to reduce personal and team vulnerability to common travel risks
- Demonstrate actions to reduce the impact of a range of common travel risks
- Describe the organisation's security policy and procedures
